Call to Order

Note: POSAC will attend a site visit before the meeting from 4-6 p.m. at the Peck Property located on the southwest edge of Longmont. The site visit will include an overview of the Peck Native Seed Garden and the Boulder County Parks & Open Space native seed program, a ranger talk about transient issues on open space properties, and a short walk on the LoBo Trail with information about county regional trails with county trails staff. The purpose of this visit is solely informational.

CEMEX Request to Extend Mining at Dowe Flats

CEMEX has applied to Boulder County Community Planning & Permitting to extend its Dowe Flats mining permit for 15 years through December 31, 2037. If approved, Boulder County would receive new options for land conservation. Staff will present how CEMEX’s proposal would benefit county open space.
