The meeting was brought to order by Chair Caitlin McKenna at approximately 6:03pm.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Approval of Meeting Minutes from September 4, 2025

MOTION: Larry Dorsey MOVED that the Boulder County Historic Preservation Advisory Board APPROVE the minutes from September 4, 2025 as written.

BUILDING PERMIT REVIEWS FOR STRUCTURES 50 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER

None.

INTRODUCTION OF, UPDATE FROM, AND DISCUSSION WITH CONSULTING TEAM, ROOTED PATHWAYS LEADERSHIP, LLC

6.1

Phase I: Latinx and Chicano Historic Context and Community Engagement Strategy

The staff and board members were given a presentation and update from the consulting team for Phase I of the Latinx and Chicano Historic Context and Community Engagement Strategy. The consulting team, Rooted Pathways Leadership, LLC introduced three members Jossy Martinez, Dra. Nicki Gonzales, and Dra. Becky Chavez who lead the presentation. The Rooted Pathways Leadership team gave an update of Phase I to the Historic Preservation Advisory Board and Boulder County staff and took questions and suggestions from the board members at the end of the presentation.

OTHER BUSINESS

The Iris Fields and the north Broadway, county-owned complex was discussed by board members and staff.
