David Batts, Lyons, CO - Discussed integrated approaches for weed management.

Stuart Jennings, Bozeman, MT - Discussed fertilizer for weed management. 

Erin Meschke, Boulder, CO - Information regarding Milestone chemicals placed near Hogback Ridge Trail. 

Jackson Moller - Nature Based Solutions for pesticides as well as pros and cons list regarding chemicals.

Paula Fitzgerald - Asked for the list of chemicals used in pesticides.

Kristine Johnson - Asked for information from other counties/city's on how they are working with pesticides.

  • County Commissioners approved a ballot measure that will extent the open space sales tax for an additional 15 years.
  • Boulder County Fair was a great success this year.
  • Youth Corps completed their season earlier this month.
  • Work on the Wapiti reroute is underway.
  • Work on the paving project on Coalton Trail is about to begin.
  • There was a structure fire at Suitts property on August 3. BCPOS is working to replace tools and other inventory that were lost.
  • Asset Management Program - Hired Asset Manager today.
  • Tolland Ranch Field Trip that was planned in July is rescheduled for September 22.
