The Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County met in Regular Meeting in full conformity with the law and resolution of said Board at the regular place of hybrid meetings, 1325 Pearl Street, Boulder and on Zoom Webinar, on January 5, 2023. 


The meeting was called to order at approximately 9:32 a.m. by Chair Marta Loachamin.

Commissioners’ Office: 2023 Legislative Agenda; Boulder County’s 2023 State Legislative Agenda identifies a diverse set of core county legislative and state budget priorities in need of support from Boulder County’s state legislative delegation, the General Assembly, and the Governor. The agenda will serve as the county’s legislative advocacy blueprint for the 2023 state legislative session.

Docket SU-21-0017: Mountain States Children's Home Expansion; Request to modify SU-04-0013 with the construction of two new residential group homes, remodeling of 6 existing residential group homes, and additions to the administrative and school buildings to support an expansion in the number of children and house parent families housed on the property. The application is submitted by Randy W. Schow, Mountain States Children’s Home (applicant/property owner). The proposal is in the Agricultural (A) zoning district at 14780 N. 107th Street, at the corner of US 287 and Yellowstone Road, in Section 10, Township 3N, Range 69W.
