Docket LU-21-0016: Leinweber Secondary Dwelling Short Term Rental


Limited Impact Special Use to permit a Secondary Dwelling Short-Term Rental to be rented up to 45 nights annually for up to 4 guests, and with a 2-night minimum on a 40-acre parcel in the Forestry (F) Zoning District. The application is submitted by John and Mary Leinweber (applicants) and Mary L Leinweber Trust (owner). The proposal is in the Forestry (F) zoning district at 17665 Peak to peak Highway, approximately 0.5 miles east of Peak to Peak Highway 1.5 miles north of the intersection of Hwy 72 and Hwy 7 in Section 29 Township 3 North Range 72 West.

Community Planning & Permitting Department Docket BORC-22-0001: Ignition Resistant Requirements for Construction in Wildfire Zone 2 (the Eastern Half of Boulder County); Ron Flax, Deputy Director of Community Planning & Permitting/Chief Building Official, will present a proposed update to the ignition resistant construction requirements for construction in Wildfire Zone 2 (the Eastern half of Boulder County). This update will focus on exterior materials and construction details to be considered by the Board of County Commissioners for inclusion into the Boulder County Building Code Amendments to the currently adopted 2015 International Codes. This update has been prompted by lessons learned from the recent Marshall Fire. The Boulder County Building Code Amendments apply to unincorporated areas of Boulder County, not in incorporated cities or towns.
