Meets every other month, the first Wednesday of the month, starting in February.


Membership includes one elected official representative from each of the municipalities in Boulder County, an ex officio representative from the City and County of Broomfield, and one County Commissioner, who chairs the Consortium. The purpose is to promote interaction and communication among Boulder County municipalities and the county for the benefit of the separate governments and the residents of Boulder County as a whole.


Appointment: 

Meets the third Wednesday of each month.


Membership includes one elected official representative from each of the member cities and counties in the six-county Denver/Boulder Metropolitan Area. The purpose is to act as the regional planning entity for land use, transportation, and water quality, among other regional efforts.

Meets on the first Monday of the month.


Membership includes representatives of seven local governments (Cities of Boulder, Superior, Arvada, Westminster, and Boulder and Jefferson Counties). The purpose is to oversee the cleanup of Rocky Flats and a safe transition to a wildlife refuge.

Membership includes an elected official representative from each city and county government in the district. The purpose is to plan for and authorize the allocation and expenditure of funds from the district-wide property tax among the district governments for urban drainage and flood control projects.

Meets quarterly, virtual and at the St. Vrain Hub.


 The board is made up of 20 members who are appointed by the Boulder County Commissioners and certified by the Governor. Members represent the private sector, education, community-based organizations, economic development agencies, and unions, and the board serves to advise the Board of County Commissioners on workforce-related issues in addition to exercising its federal law responsibilities. The Board of County Commissioners has the responsibility to plan, oversee and evaluate the operations of Boulder County's two Workforce Centers and appoints one Commissioner representative to this Board.

Membership includes an elected official representative from each of the member governments (Cities of Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Longmont, and Westminster, the Towns of Superior and Erie, the City and County of Broomfield and Boulder County). MCC advocates for transportation solutions to increase mobility in the Northwest Metro Region.

Roundtable members collaborate on and address the noise impacts on the community surrounding the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport.

-- BCHA is applying for this grant to supplement its existing Supportive Housing programs and funding sources available for vulnerable, precariously housed or homeless families with school-aged children, which currently include HUD Continuum of Care Rapid Rehousing funds (CoC RRH), local HSSN funds administered through our Housing Stabilization Program, Family Unification Program vouchers, and the Family Self-Sufficiency Program.  If awarded, funding for this program will be able to assist approximately 15 - 20 families in any given month with rental and security deposit assistance and case management supports.  We hope to target these resources to families who are doubled-up/couch surfing, as they do not qualify for the HUD CoC RRH program, due to not meeting the definition of literal homelessness, but would be eligible under the Next Steps program, thereby filling a gap in our housing resources continuum.  

-- Requesting approval to submit grant proposals to two different state opportunities that are funded through ARPA dollars.


The first proposal is being submitted to the Criminal Justice Early Intervention Grant Program (RFP IBEH 2023000168). This grant program, funded out of SB 22-196, has $49,000,000 to distribute in support of various early intervention criminal justice programs with a maximum award for any single project of $5,000,000. All dollars need to be expended by grantees by December 30, 2024.


The second proposal is being submitted to the Community Investment Grant program (RFP IBEH 2023000173) which was developed from HB 22-1281 and is also funded from state ARPA dollars. All disbursed funds must be spent by December 30, 2024. This request builds upon current recovery home efforts with services provided through Tribe Recovery Home, Inc. This proposal requests $500,000 for a capital expenditure to help cover the purchase of a residential Recovery Home. In addition, a total of $486,000 is requested for the expansion of inpatient and intensive outpatient services. The total request under this RFP is $986,000.

-- The phase 2 study continues the work from the US-287 BRT Feasibility Study by focusing on corridor safety – for all users – and multimodal connections at intersections and throughout the corridor. Recommendations from the BRT study will be brought into the analysis during this phase.


Due to recent fatal crashes occurring along rural portions of US287, within Boulder County, CDOT is adding $184,865 to the US287 study contract to expand the scope of work to include the median design for these segments of the corridor. This additional design will focus on areas of US287 north of Longmont and between the communities of Longmont and Erie. There is no additional expense for Boulder County or local municipalities.

-- Boulder County Risk Management is requesting approval for the 2023 Boulder County liability insurance renewal effective January 1, 2023.

-- This position request was brought forward in a BOCC meeting on 11/29/22. At that time the board voted to delay the request based on some language in the initial contract with the States BHA. The State and the Boulder County attorney’s office have confirmed that the contract signed as is correct given the scope of work agreed on by the County. Robin Bohannan, Community Services Director, is requesting a term 1.0 FTE Community Justice Professional II (CC2) for the Community Justice Services Division with a term date of June 2023 with funding that is likely to extend thru December 25, 2024. This position will bring much needed behavioral health treatment and critical care coordination services to individuals served by the Pretrial Services Unit who are assessed as having significant mental health or co-occurring disorders.  Bridgette McCarthy, Grant Supervisor with OFM, has verified the grant funding. Human Resources has approved the classification. Commissioners' approval is needed.

-- Robin Bohannan, Community Services Director, is requesting a term 1.0 FTE Community Justice Professional II (CC2) for the Community Justice Services Division. This position will be a Juvenile Mentoring Program Coordinator. This position will fill an
identified gap in services provided to high/moderate risk youth on probation. The signed contract has a term date through June 2023. Bridgette McCarthy, Grant Supervisor with OFM, has verified the grant funding. Human Resources has approved the classification. Commissioners' approval is needed.
